Pointe Claire Skating Club

Since our inception into Skate Canada in October 1965, the Pointe-Claire Skating club has always strived to make its club a family friendly atmosphere. Our learn to skate KidSkate / CanSkate program has a proven track record of giving young skaters the basics for their future skating sport; be it Figure Skating, Hockey or Ringuettes.

Our Pre-canskate program is designed to teach children aged 3 and up. Our dedicated coaches and program assistants teach with a "learn-through-play" approach through toys and games. This unique method softens up the most stubborn kids.

Our CanSkate recreational program is designed for children aged 5 years and older, teaches beginners basic learn-to-skate skills, and those already skating (unassisted) skills such as stopping, backward, crosscuts, speed, etc.

Each session runs 50 minutes per week for a 22 week period in the Fall / Winter, half sessions are also available; We also have a Spring session and an summer session.

Our Jr. Group Clinic program is for skaters who are ready to start in figure skating. This group introduces the skaters to Stroking, Skills, Dance and Freestyle. Skaters at this level are strongly recommended to take private lessons, but this is not an enforced policy. Skaters will advance more quickly if they are on the ice more than 1 hour a week

Our ever growing STARSkate program builds on the foundation that of what was learnt in CanSkate. We welcome recreational skaters who want to improve their skating ability and for more advanced skaters we offer testing and competitions.

Leader in Building Champions Skate Canada is committed to the development of personal excellence through participation in skating.
